Thank You For Your Support of the Salmon Arm Fair!

The 2021 Salmon Arm Fair was shaping up to be one for the books. 

With the popular attractions, live entertainment (including the Barn Dance), awesome fair food, the West Coast Amusements midway, all the livestock, 4H and homecraft exhibitors, we were expecting a record year…then Covid strikes its ugly head again and the Fair went fizzle. With the spike in cases and increase in hospitalized Covid patients, the PHO announced restrictions that forced the board to cancel once again.

However, the bright spot is the unwavering support of our sponsors, volunteers, local government, our suppliers, and our community. 

An enormous thank you to each of our sponsors who have been there to support this amazing community event year after year.  Even when we have had to cancel…again! Without the help of your continuous help the Salmon Arm Fair would not be what it is today!

Another big thank you to our Convenors who step up every year to volunteer countless hours to help show the best in our region. The exhibits are the foundation of the Salmon Arm Fair and have been so since 1897. 

Our community stepped up early and were buying tickets and passes in record time online. Social media comments were very supportive of the decision to cancel even though they, like all of us, were extremely disappointed!

We would also like the thank the following donors for their generosity to the evacuation efforts at the Salmon Arm Fairgrounds due to the White Rock Lake fire. The Salmon Arm Rotary Club- Financial Assistance, Busy Bee Delivery- Financial Assistance, Reimer Farm Services - bedding, Anonymous donor- 40 hay bales, Anonymous donor- 20 hay bales, Roots and Blues, 4H and local citizens - volunteer time. No further donations are required at this time.

For all the events, the participants and patrons of the Salmon Arm Fair, and the people & support that make it all possible, we are truly thankful. We will be back in 2022 … see you then.
