Shuswap Agricultural
Association
The Salmon Arm & Shuswap Agricultural Association, non-profit organization (Registered Charity), hosts of the Salmon Arm Fair. Recently, we changed the operating name of the association. Why a name change? While the previous name was descriptive, it wasn’t as straightforward as we would like. What happens when it’s so long is many just use the acronym and even the acronym (SASLAA) was confusing to many. We are all about and dedicated to preserve and enhance, through educational endeavours, the agricultural and historical legacy of the North Okanagan-Shuswap region of British Columbia. Our operating name Shuswap Agricultural Association says it all and we invite you to join the Association as a Member, Volunteer, or Sponsor.
The Salmon Arm and Shuswap Lake Agricultural Association, operating as the Shuswap Agricultural Association, are owners and operators of the city’s oldest signature event: the Salmon Arm Fair, held every year, the last weekend of August.
